I get the joy of owning a physical copy of something (I own a few titles I really like in Japanese), but how are you going to rub one out while flipping through the pages?There's something nice about having acutal paper in your hands. It's nice reading doujins online, but actually owning them is kinda their own novelty nowadays. Although, I do say that as a foreigner to Japan, and living in a place where such things are considered contraband.

No, I totally agree, especially after actually holding one. The pages on most of them are super stiff. I don't use them for that, though, I just wanted them to own them, especially some of the more obscure ones.
