This is really good. A believable plot, with believable and likeable characters, and a comforting theme of redemption and love. The characters felt real, and in those five short chapters I really grew to care about both of them. I'm a little sad it's already time to say goodbye.
But I'm also happy it ended when it did. It had one story to tell and that story is over. And (probably due to the time constraint of having to tell the story it did in the time it did) while the story still feels whole and complete, when I take a step back and look at it analytically, there was very little world-building around the characters. It focused on the two leads, and didn't throw in unnecessary, under-developed side relationships that would've cluttered the story. But with the main characters happy and fulfilled and no side characters to follow, it would have been difficult for it to continue any longer without feeling forced.
