...Proportionate to his height? So, he has a huge schlong seeing how he's a huge guy? Really...
Anyway, JSDF, huh? Really? How about drawing them similar to a proper knight order instead of the JSDF? What do you mean who do they answer to? Isn't it an empire? So, wouldn't these people answer to the highest commanders and then the emperor himself? It couldn't be more obvious. I'm honestly starting to get a bit fed up with how this mangaka is skimping on details all the time. He's great at drawing and I love all the detailed work and illustration-esque pictures, but since he wants this story to be a semi-drama/somewhat serious at times with a proper world setting, he should think a bit about questions like these and set it up properly. Half-assing it without a proper plan only gets you that far in a proper story. If he was just going to write a gag manga with no resemblance of story and plot development, like the usual stuff we see in slice of lifes, it would've been fine to skip all of the details, but he's clearly going for something with an actual story instead of being purely episodic comedy.

@Seregosa Japan hasn't been an empire since WWII. The Emperor has been little more than an important figurehead since then. They most likely answer to the Prime Minister. And why does it have to mirror western knights exactly? It's not entirely western as there's many eastern(if not outright Japanese) aspects.
