I enjoy these fantasy slice-of-life chapters. The overarching story is great too, and I love it. I just feel this is a poor medium for it. Just bits and pieces spread out over way too long. By the time I get the next piece of the puzzle, I've already forgotten most of it. I'd rather have the story in a novel, and have this just be a slice-of-life manga. Just frontload the exposition in the first chapters, to build the world, then forget the plot for just more fluff.
