so for people who are interested in what just happened. 1) her mind space instructor was testing her to see if she would make a good choice. the first two would be avoiding the end goal of learning all 9 poses and while the last one was a pit to increase the other two punishments, Ling Lan was able to complete it then 2) if you are unclear what her "intelligence test" was, part of her exam was an interview which was skimped over. the examiners lament that Ling Lan's response was too textbook AND while desirable from adult soldiers, obviously "brainwashed" by adults. this type of early influence kept real talents outside of classes they rightfully deserve, because there is a limited amount of seats.

wait wait WAIT hold up, did they skimp over the test? this is fine but what about the 1) the first time she meets her playmates, 2) when Ling Lan gets attacked by her loyalists, is that on her first day of school or was suppose to already happen? I remember the stimulation test being on the same day as the others, unless they plan to slow down the younger school days arc but even then, they did a whole lot. Ling Lan only fell into obscurity some time after, in other words, a period perfect for a time skip

So.... the girl is Ling Lan grown up?? It seems she got her mothers hair then. I thought she would grow up with black hair or brown hair like her dad. Black or brown would fit her
