Too many shows/movies/manga/books either make the couple too static, too dependant, or too lopsided. Same reason I love "Chivalry of a Failed Knight".

Except no, not in the slightest. He's very much considering her feelings and is communicating to her how he feels and what he is thinking. He never forces her to do anything and asking to kiss her or to spend more time with her isn't even close to only asking her for sex. In fact, Saki takes the initiative a few times like grabbing him by the hand and suggesting they take a longer route. She's so close to him at this point she can tell what he's thinking. This only reinforces how strong their relationship has become and it's superficial to think it's regressing because he's asking a woman who has a history of being unable to say "no" to do stuff that is pretty banal relative to her past partners. @ringo_juusu

@tseng One of the boys in chapter 2 does say she's from class 2-C which would mean second year but either the author had written the wrong thing or just decided that it's better for both of them to be third years. Koga's definitely a third year (since he says himself in the first chapter that he's 18) while Miku's a first year high school student and Meguro says there's a three year age gap between them meaning she's 18 as well.

@Suben that could be, but the manga description in pocket.shonenmagazine say they are kouhai and senpai, tho meguro never treated him like a senpai (koga is in class 3-C or E and meguro in 2-C, tho not sure if it was shown before, but when they doing the festival is more clear, and that usually means they are in 3rd and 2nd year), so unless author retconned that

@tseng It was definitely retconned at some point then since there's no way Miku could be a first year high school student and be three years younger than a second year Meguro unless Meguro was held back which, outside of jokes in fiction, doesn't really happen in Japanese schools IIRC unless you're basically a hikikomori or otherwise never actually go.
