Well remember, no matter what, luca IS a maibaum, so either he's a winterwald, or a maibaum, so i don't think it matters too much to his position since, if luca doesn't become the heir of winterwald, he'd still have the rights to inherit the maibaum noble name from his mother since judith will become a winterwald by marriage and rudiger and judith's first kid would be their heir.
