Honestly, though, I LOVED this chapter. You can feel how overwhelmed by emotion Ruediger is, and how honest he is because of it. And Judith is finally seeing and thinking past what she knew from the novel and realizing him as a person, and seeing her own unique charms and strengths through Ruediger's eyes. It's absolutely wonderful. I love theeeeem. 🥹
