I think there are two possible routes this takes:
1. As some people have said, the revenge is something silly like asking her to go out or to marry him.
2. He will actually tell her it was all a plot to get revenge and that he wants nothing more to do with her, but since he's all she has she will just become super needy and beg him to stay by her side even though he will start mistreating her
