The author is setting up a misunderstanding where one day, she doesn't show up to school and the bullies are rumor mongering that she might have killed herself.

The MC will snap at this and become enraged. He will then fight the bullies, wreck them while also getting wrecked and run to her house. Finds her there okay, just having taken the day off.

The scene will progress to her showing concern while he just stares and thinks back to all the things they both did to each other. He then hugs her while she looks super confused, but happy.

It will end with her applying similar bandages to him that we've seen on her most of this series. "Look. We match."

End

Though, now that I've written this, the author probably has something worse in store for us.

But I have hope.

you can't expect wounds to heal that quickly, especially when they're tied to deep trauma from bullying. i can't help but think him hitting her and exposing that he still is angry is finally him being honest with himself. to her who was one-sidedly receiving care from the person who she bullied, this probably is actually a massive relief in an f-'d up way because her insecurity about why he was with her will be resolved.

if anything, he had to finally snap at her for his revenge in some way otherwise they'd never have a true HE. the earlier slap doesn't really count. now i can see the emptiness of revenge finally hitting him and he'll realize he does care.

All that aside, the storytelling here is paper thin, with the chapter titles doing 90% of the work. Author has a vague idea of a story and is trying to eke it out 1 image at a time. The next chapter could be “and then a nuke went off and everyone died, the end” and it would be par for the course. Your expectations should be on the floor for this one.

You're overrating the relevance of that chapter, at this point.

That was one of the many acts of bullying he suffered at her hands, and it wasn't even alluded to in the flashbacking he did in chapter 26. At best, that's the back-breaking straw. We can safely assume that the bullying he endured was pretty awful, even without the R18 version, because Japanese bullying is already pretty awful.

He's not bent on revenge because she made him jack off on camera. He's bent on revenge because she led a Japanese-style bullying campaign against him at all, and furthermore can't accept that she actually changed and is making amends that he allows her to make, and that he reaps the benefits of.

But, sure, let's talk about the R18 version that showed us how she made him jerk off in front of her. If we're going to talk about that chapter 14 like it bears weight in the main narrative (that doesn't allude to anything that happens there), we have to take all of that version as canonical.

So, let's talk about how the R18 version is replete with him going HAM in those cheeks. Hitting it like he wants to make her a mother. Got the hams oscillating like a Slinky in a physics class.

Without already selling me into slavery, you couldn't pay me to have sex with people I hate, but this guy does it for free-- in fact, he wants to do it at the potential cost of fatherhood. "Revenge", my ass-- hell, "revenge", her ass.

The MC's just a snake and hypocrite whose commitment is to satisfying the maelstrom of his emotions. It's why his 32 IQ-revenge plan involved him ingratiating himself with his former bully instead of just participating in the bullying already happening against her like he now just did. It's why he constantly has sex with her (again, assuming the R18 version is fully canon). It's why he lets her repeatedly sacrifice herself for him-- only to disregard all of the aforementioned when he feels himself relenting from his original goal. He doesn't even think it's a farce on her part-- he just still wants to hurt her even though the person he wants to hurt is no longer there.

Can this dude even get a satisfying revenge from someone who's fully willing to be his Aunt Sally?
