I feel like the author lost his own plot here...
We never saw her with another man. So I'm guessing it's him imagining it in his dream?
She only told him "I've found someone else I like so let's break up" not that he "cheated on her" or whatever he is talking in page 15.
Page 15 is either very badly translated or the author is having trouble remembering his own lore...

Exactly. We specifically saw her thoughts that it was all a lie to get an emotional response out of him. She never cheated. Also on pg 15 Yuuta is saying that SHE said HE was cheating. That is 180 from what was actually said. The only thing that his quotes get right is that she said that she never knew what he was thinking. I doubt it's supposed to be reconning and the HE cheating on HER thing cannot be what he thinks since it mismatches with his dream so it has to be a poor translation.

I rooted for Akane but then she sided with MC's ex and completely dismissed his point of view (she did that a few times before now that I think about it). Honestly Ruri is only the best girl by process of elimination by this point. Also author probably had no idea where to take the plot so it just kinda ends up stupid by now.

Apparently the manga has changed things up from the light novel. The dream is what actually happened(in the LN) and she was dating someone else for a week to get a reaction out of the MC. She said that their story should be that he was the one who cheated if anyone asks, or something like that. She was also the one trying to talk to the MC but he refused. She then got stalker and asked the MC for help and they later made up after MC got her to realise how shitty she had been.
It just seems that the manga is a bad adaptation and they're trying to make the ex less despicable. Her lying about cheating is more excusable than her actually cheating.

I should mention that I'm not sure if this is true, I haven't read the LN. It's just something I found some people saying when I was searching for a better translated version because pg15 didn't make sense and I thought it was some machine translation error.
