This chapter is kinda ok I guess. My question still stands, how can the Mangaka have progress if they can't confess or MC dies? All I forsee is alot of wheel spin until axe-kun then rushed ending. Also are we really going to go the whole "Dead parent" route again Sigh. I feel like we are being told this cause this will be the reason to prolong her attempted confession again for ages for more of that sweet sweet wheel spin.

Just follow the cookie-cutter pattern of having interrupted or otherwise aborted confessions up until the final chapter, where you have a confession scene and then one page of "epilogue". For this particular manga you can just toss in some random deus ex machina (true love beats everything is a classic) to solve the premise.

I feel like it's gonna be dumber like she confesses to him and he doesn't die and it'll end up being "She never really made the curse ends up she was lying to trick those that could fall in love to avoid it" or something like that.

I thought this could be interesting at first but I keep losing track of what the story is and who the characters are. He keeps reading girls minds and find they all love him so I’m not sure who I’m supposed to care about.
