For what it's worth, it seems like the translator misread the kanji in 温かい (warm) as 湿 (moist) which is why they kept translating it here as 'damp".

This isn't like, some weird slang usage or anything. They're literally just saying the stories the mom used to write were heartwarming (instead of being sob stories like now), lol.

Thanks for the correction, when I was translating I was like "damn Hanae could write very interesting books" (embarrassingly, I mistranslated quite literally the easiest word, must've gotten mistaken from the earlier 湿い), anyways, I'll make the changes in due time, thanks once again!

I agree with the after note, she mentally scars her lovely family for her own selfish reasons. Then why have a family in the first place? Sadly people like this exist, hell a lot of the great art masters were trainwrecks in their personal life because they prioritized their art. yeah ok, you achieved fame only after you died of 11 venereal diseases in a gutter, pennyless at 38, but at least everyone will remember your dumb painting for 100 years.

Yeah I don't respect this character. I'm just glad this drama plot is over. Now gimme more of the covert ojou.

Artists with their out of the box thinking. It's hard to understand their brain, and it is up to the person near them to rein those thinkings back to the box.
