Hes saying that the plot is moving really fast, so he thinks that the manga has a chapter limit that they cant pass so they are setting the pace really fast. This is very common with mangas, as adaptations dont go well so the publisher cuts it short. Now hopefully thats not the case and they fix this atrocious pacing.

the novel has 16 volumes i doubt thy are going to cut it mid way (if volumes from novel to manga are 1/1)
