In the web novel version is just like you said it. Im not sure if the light novel version changed it or its the mangaka vision. Same with the protagonist being a virgin and the no killing plot.

Ok that makes sense, I was like so much of this is familiar but didn't know where from. Probably looked over the webnovel a while back and forgot. I also get this one confused with the one where the protag also has white hair and somekind of fallen and travels with the snarky bird and playful wolf.

Well, as per the LN illustrations that is not true, as by Vol.11, MC would have kids with the three of his wives, aka., Elf, Maid & Bunny.
Currently, the Manga is covering the plot of LN Vol.3.

Now whether the Manga would cover that plot, or whether the series would get Axe'd before it reaches that point is unknown, as Alphapolis does Axe series randomly.
Plus its taking so long for the Manga adaptation to move its plot forward when compared to the LN.
I mean it took 7+ years to only cover plot upto Vol.3, and currently there are 18 LN volumes out in Japan (with last one releasing in 2025).
