Lever actions have a lever that you use to move the action. It can thus also be spun around like that as a gimmick.
Most guns are not a lever action, such as the 1911, which is a pistol. The mod makes the 1911 into a lever action which is pretty cool.
Mei designed the lever mod for air cocking airsoft pistols. Which require you to pull the slide after each shot. The lever thus replaces the need to pull the slide by hand, instead using the lever to leverage the slide to move the action
