It is just you, remember this guy is forming a Fractured human team to hunt down some other fractured humans, but unlike Misogeidon he doesn't has brainwash abilities nor the charisma and ideals, so he needs to replace that with something else, and a harsh attitude and the means to back it up is his answers, in this case his back ups are blackmail (he has plenty of dirt on Jagaaaaaan) and the authority that the government grants him, like any other militia hi will force his way with power and go to the point.

In other words from now on Jagaaaaaaaan is his police dog.

Jagasaki is in a dilemma because of his feelings to begin with. Now this dude shows up with some incentive for Jagasaki to follow his original ideal again and I guess he's just gonna stick to it. AKA Jagasaki may be unconsciously using this dude's reasons for his own reasons as I don't think he's willing to give up Bell that easily. Regardless though, Mikazuchi got mad dirt on Jagasaki.

always knew the author will pull some shit out of his ass to make yuriko relevant again to the story, what with the HHH arc having ended so soon, but never thought it's going to be something like this
then again every single manga featuring superpowered kids have always had an authoritative organization related to the origin of and/or investigating the superpowers which the MCs always join, so i should have known the HHH was going to be a bait and switch
kind of disappointed tbh since bell-tan and yomama have already been shown to be heads over heels for MC and from what we've seen, they're the better waifu candidates
