Bro, you're old if the PS3 still is "the new stuff" to you.I still play PS3 games and mostly ignore new stuff. I guess I really am getting old...
I don't think @frjoethesecond was saying that they consider the PS3 to be "the new stuff", just that they ignore "the new stuff" and play old PS3 games instead.Bro, you're old if the PS3 still is "the new stuff" to you.
All that does is stop previously purchased digital games from working. Just replace the battery and jailbreak the console to fix it.PS3 CMOS battery death will make sure it will not be able to live long enough to be retro.
That's what I was saying. He said he feels old because he "ignores the new stuff" and plays "ps3 instead".I don't think @frjoethesecond was saying that they consider the PS3 to be "the new stuff", just that they ignore "the new stuff" and play old PS3 games instead.
But mid-7th generation games still look fairly modern to me anyway, or at least racing games like Forza Motorsports 3 and FM4 don't look that dated. Yeah, there aren't any ray-traced reflections on the cars but, on the other hand, I do like the part where I can play both games completely offline and never have to log in to a remote server because of always-online DRM.
