This is why Jahy is only #2. I bet Maou would be completely fine if some random stranger picked her up and ran off with her. It was pretty obvious before, but Maou is definitely intentionally putting Jahy in those situations. Lying in the middle of the road then conveniently getting up and running off just as Jahy reaches her to help, resulting in Jahy almost getting hit? Not subtle at all.

I'd really like some insight into what Maou is really thinking. The only thing that can be accurately deduced is that she finds Jahy to be a major nuisance and wants Jahy to stay away from her.
