it went different then what i expected when i saw the dog, i thought that he was going to eat it(legal in Korea until 2027), since he's an poor, and Korean MC's typically aren't sympathic to animals(in other manhwas, the MC would threaten to eat/beat their mascot char, if they aren't useful), although it's mainly old Korean people who eat dogs, for cultural reason, and this manga are about shamans, and traditionally dog is considered cheap protein(although recently it's more expensive then chicken and beef), it's not unexpected that people will think he'll eat the dog, as an nod to tradition, since this is an shaman manga, with an poor, edgy MC.
