With how sluggish each release has been I'm surprised this manga lasted this long. But, if the publisher continued to support this despite what's essentially the pace of one chapter every two months, then it definitely was popular at one point. That said, welp, it's incredibly disappointing that it ended in such an unresolved manner. At least make it seem like nothing comes after this dragon fight, but I guess they've got to promote the light novel.

Well this felt rushed. Two big boss fights and they last one chapter each.

6 Years and nearly 50 chapters. Around 1,5 months for a chapter. That's not too bad, as I imagine working on a manga is hard work.

But what an end. It's the last chapter and not only did MC just defeat the "final" boss, he also gained the cute, but a bit gritty, mascot character, showed that there aren't just one "the next arc", but two and introduced the next wifu to meet. If those ain't some jampacked last 40 Pages, I don't know.

It isn't axed, because of the lack of ideas. Acctually almost all the ideas for centent have been really good, but the pacing and rush was aweful. This is the next thin..., the next bos..., the next crisi... WHY ARE THEY RESOLVED SO QUICKLY? And why does it always directly connect to the next thing?

This is sort of the LN ending, LN been completed since 2017 with Volume 7, though dunno how faithful the manga ended up being to the LN since i stopped reading it so long ago (like 20ish), or if they properly adapted the whole thing before this chapter, but this chapter alone was a rushed mess of Volume 7 already with a bunch of flashforwards and stuff

sadly, some times it just kind of happens, the author has an amazing concept/idea gets most of it out in the first few arcs then they go, shit people liked that but it's all I really had I'll just wing it, like with Oda and one piece, he knows the start and he knows the end every thing in the middle is just up for grabs(he has and idea of what he wants but even stuff like law and kid where just an after thought with his editor) so that's why it seems like some things just kinda drag
