I think they have gotten quite close and if that is indeed her brother at the end and he saves her in the future it could bring them closer together especially about the part about her worried that he could turn out like a brother if he's only focused on getting stronger

I do like the fact that he actually has to work towards improving himself and his improvement isn't some bullshit "oh all of a sudden this guy is ridiculously OP and stronger than everyone else because of some gimmick/power" like you see most of these Isekai protags have but instead him just gradually growing at a steady rate.

Is kind of interesting that the protagonists have such low mental fortitude yet his is through the roof the feeling of never giving up never quitting no matter what that other two don't have

Bro, the amount of cope mechanism this guy has is commendable. This is absolutely peak. Honestly, it's refreshing to see a character not outright being OP at the start.

Also, I kinda ship him with Yururu-sensei. Their chemistry is cute. Also, the fact that Yururu-sensei immediately told our protagonist that she also had void attribute is such a sweetheart, man.
