I don't think he needs to?See you next month. Do you guys think Sansui will ever defeat Suiboku?
Man, I forgot how old these sages can getHe's my younger sister's grandson. He should already be over 70
Except I don't really see WHY he needs to have that ambition. Every other character in this story keeps saying that (including this new challenger) but there has not been an intrinsic need for Sansui to be stronger than he really is right now. It's all external forces telling him to.It's a good lesson for Sansui, he lack the ambition right now and need to has his version of strongest being realized, not Suiboku's version. He is Suiboku's version of the strongest but he is not his own version of the strongest.
But his opponent is probably too extreme though.
Yeah, if anything: Suiboku's version of the strongest, seems to recognize that fact; and sees Sansui's disposition to value things beyond strength, as being more important. This idiot fighting Sansui, literally embodies the mindset, that Suiboku aimed to have Sansui, avoid becoming. The only real lesson for Sansui to learn from this Dork, is not to become like him.Except I don't really see WHY he needs to have that ambition. This arc feels like a forced piece to have Sansui grow in a short amount of time and I'm not really sure I like that. The discovery that theres a whole VILLAGE full of hundred-years-old sages also makes Sansui and Suiboku feels a lot less special.
Sansui and suiboku are still special as in they are the only sword sage/battle sages.Except I don't really see WHY he needs to have that ambition.
