Being Swedish I find Sabaton to be a bit cringe, what with their fixation on war &c. Personally I'm into Japanese rock and metal. Lovebites, Fate Gear, Nemophila, Ningen Isu... Band-Maid meander in the borderlands between hard rock and metal proper.
And Baby Metal is an idol act with a metal backing band.

Except they aren't exclusively war itself,especially considering 1/3 of the their tracks are covers in their bonus tracks,there's war adjacent,such as the holocaust,and as pointed out each n' every time,none of them glorify war.

Making history the forefront and understandable ain't cringe,what is cringe is somehow having the Netherlands claim they will ignore Geneva suggestions should their neighbour experience nation wide chaos due to immigration,which only happens when one forgets the historical facts about human displacement...
