She was likely asked by his old country to get rid of him, her just following orders of another country as queen, attempting to kill her benefactor makes her trash tbh

That is a terrible choice by the princess. Forcing Net to complete an impossible quest or arrest him only makes any sense if that shithead king ordered her to.
