Hiding secret when you kept begging for someone to help you doesn't sit very well to me

I feel like this has kind of written itself into a corner. Net is useless because he can't fight at all. He's unwilling to use his connections to murder the king which is fair enough though cheapened a little by him pining for blackmail material for the king. No one in the area can kill the thing. Net's only talent is that people like him so he can't actually come up with a technology or tactic to kill it. Him just walking in to die against the dragon would feel kind of satisfying as an ending to the series.

Honestly I think they basically to need to really quickly evolve Net's character in some way. It's hard to care about a character like Net for very long because without an actual talent he'll eventually start seeming like a freeloader to the audience. I already kind of think of him as someone who only lives off the abilities of others and not through his own genuine efforts. If he had like an actual job I would probably like him more but he's just a wanderer still.

Or like, regularly showing off that he's using some of his connections to help others. Someone in a bind? Maybe Net knows the perfect person to help them, and after all, they helped out Net that earlier time! Stuff like that. It doesn't need to be deep, just giving us some reason why everyone thinks he's a cool duder worth helping out.

Was he on her bed when he flicked something shiny with his boot earlier this chapter? Then if I am right the appraisal shop will determine it to be a dragon scale. Although this isn't a very big shock since we all already suspected she was a dragon even before that naked mirror page.

The real twist is if she is actually a slime that has been masquerading as the saint princess since the accident.
