Odd that amazing manga like this get canceled so early, and yet shit isekai carbon copies filled with dull harems and even slavery get renewed and even get anime and such.
Plus the most promising and unique (and also good) rom-coms and slices of life get canceled in favor of paint by numbers dark action stories and high school love quadrangles and such.
I've come to the conclusion that the Japanese just don't have much taste, as for things to get localized into English to even give us a CHANCE to buy it, it first has to succeed in Japan. Many things that would succeed in the west don't even come to the west except via fan translation sites like this, so they never get a chance to be paid for by those who would appreciate them the most.
Yes it's true that us readers can buy the untranslated volumes and such, but it's not a realistic or easy way to do things. Someone could really disrupt the Japanese manga scene if they found a way to fast translate manga (even if it was quick and dirty and not properly cleaned) and then show it to westerners with ads and optional donations / volume presales in order to crowd fund them.
Similar to Steam Early Access, but with Manga.
