She said it… even with her talking it over under that truth charm, that’s a heavy blow. Those compliments were nice but don’t amount to her saying she sees him like he wants her to.

Honestly nothing short of her showing up for night activities in lingerie is going to fully convince him that she sees him as a romantic option.

I don’t get why he said what the king said should be discounted either. “Pitiful” was exactly the right word for that situation.
