Also Isnt an open area actually the worst place for a show down with someone with a bow??? The guy can clearly see him and just shoot him from the security of the brushes/nearby forest. Kai is brain dead.

But i bet they will have a dumb fist fight. I would be surprised if it werent the case

Kai's plan is to be in an open area so he can see were Sei is at all times. In a forrest, Sei can stay hidden and shoot and arrow through Kai's neck before the latter can get the shiv close to Liv.
