Alright, I've been reserved with deciding whether a person should die or not, but damn Kai really did it now. This is worse than anything Sawada or some of the crazies have done to them. Their shelter, food, animals, supplies, not to mention lives...

Doesn't seem fair to put Kai with the likes of local rapey cannibal man, because Kai is going at this from his point of view and personal beliefs, the belief that mankind has no hope and death is the end of that suffering yadda yadda. It's a point of view you can easily disagree with, but to put it on the same moral level as "Imma trample all over you and your everything else, now spread your legs or ill spread your guts" would just be intellectually dishonest

At least the latter is honest. What Kai's doing is manipulation.

I think, as much as I don't want to admit, that Sawada's better than Kai. Sawada made his intentions loud and clear for everyone, while Kai wears a mask of kindness. They're both harmful, but with Kai nobody, except for the main cast, suspected him. Some even trusted him.

@FKW_ll Sorry but i just can't really agree to this.
No matter how manipulative Kai is, he isn't approaching this the way he is because he likes to see them suffer but because he believes that resistance is futile and it's best to just accept the cold embrace of death.
He's a fucker who's set his mind to think like this, but i would 10/10 times choose to be murdered by some dude like that rather than some absolute pos who just raped my friends, murdered them, and then ate them.
Sawada is the epitome of all that makes the human mind go "Just no"

Sawada is straightforward. Both parties know their stance towards one another. Though it is violent, it is also honest.

Kai on the other hand manipulates you into thinking he's your ally, while waiting to stab you in the back. It's not as violent as the first option, but much more sinister.

I'd rather go with Sawada. He knows I hate him, I know he hates me. Simple. After all, betrayal from an ally is worse than an attack from an enemy.

@FKW_ll Best to get stabbed in the back than eaten by cannibals. I get where you are coming from, since you know that the manga wouldn't let Sawada win, you are more worried about the insidious problem of Kai, who can be more of a wildcard as to what he can manage to damage.

However, in real life I'd hope everyone would have the wisdom to see that yes, sometimes you are going to lose, unlike what tends to happen in fiction, and it's sometimes better to get stabbed by a friend, especially when this stabbing isn't even seen as a betrayal of trust, than the indirect possibility of getting eaten by a cannibal.

Not quite the exact thing, but you can see some examples irl like Vetranio declaring himself emperor during Constantius II's reign so that another, much worse dude wouldn't do the same.
