I don't think people were reading the story at all... :sigh:
Cecil is emotionless, he is truly gifted and everything is a "meh" for him, he hardly gives away any emotions at all unless he is by Bertia with her shenanigans, but still keeping a whole lot to himself with only actions showing what he feels.
In defence of Heronia, she was isekaied in as MC of the story, everything was supposed to be according to the game but this is a real world not being limited by game scripts.
Imagine being isekaied as The Dragonborn in Skyrim, believing everything you do is righteous with everyone up to guild masters licking your asshole, but realistically speaking you're just a murderous nobody hobo acting all mighty and people being rightfully dubious of you.
Feel sorry for Heronia now, she was supposed to have it all with little efforts but everyone and everything was a lie, she was supposed to be the MC of the story but now due to misunderstandings turned out as a villain.
Doubtful she knows her bird is drugging everyone around, she doesn't know about it as Bertia does with Kuro with her protective magic and giving her occasionally kemonomimi features to emphasize emotions.
Wish Cecil would tell Heronia the obvious thing he already knows, both Bertia and her share same knowledge of the game thous probably came from the same world, even saying game mechanics, because right now he is being a bullying asshole by keeping her in the dark.
