We don´t know for sure she is a demon.
But the odds are she is some type of former hero or demon.

Huh? If I remember from that prev chap she should be an angel or some divine being right? The convo implied she killed the demon god, cares a lot for humans and was something more than human.

Also if you're mistaken then Iris(the silver haired loner friend) is the demon king reincarnated.
