Her whole thing is separating humanity from godly rule (including herself). Her deciding to seal her power implies this. So if Haruto was straight with her, she would have no reason to freak out about it. She would have attempted to kill Shiva(Haruto) if she really cared about people being too powerful. Hell, she even gave Yulia (a human who was the reincarnation of a god) a pass because the principal only cares about gods.
