Yup, I think first cousins rather than anything distant iirc. It's kinda funny that the MC has turned both his real sister who thinks she's his cousin as well as his cousin who thinks she's his real sister into Brocons.

Especially since the problem royal parents that tried to kill him as a baby for having "too low mana" are gone. Though I guess it's hard to come clean without explaining how he could have consciousness as a baby?

Yeah that would be a problem, it would have to be one of the adopted parents to spill the beans since iirc they are aware he's a prince. The real parents could probably drop the bomb about having another kid they ditched in the woods to die for being too weak but it wouldn't really lead back to him. Maybe there could be some other situation like a macguffin that activates in the presence of the direct royal lineage or something to reveal it. However before that happens I kinda want to get a bit more attention on the Sister's crush, we haven't really gotten as much out of it as we should.

Well, whatever everyone says, Haruto has one goal in his mind. HE JUST WANT TO BE LAZY AGAIN. He doesn't care about him being the same blood with the royals. He love his current family and pretty much engraved in as the mother and little sister knows what he is capable of. As for poison in the cup, he probably had cast antidote earlier but he's pretty much thinking that there are opposition to the coronation as well. So, he will have to become Batman Shiva again to investigate the plot.

At this point, the situation at home is way too unstable to do anything permanent about the foreign king. Say Haruto DID capture/kill him, what is to prevent another army from coming for revenge? Who will rule the newly conquered land? It won't be his siblings as they are still suffering from the fall-out of the old royals. What mechanisms will be in place to prevent ambicious traitors from messing with the country and siding with the foreign country?

Leaving the king alone for now is the wise choice as the country is still unstable. Plus the king is no threat as Haruto can EASILY dispose of him if he ever got uppity.

Yeah this whole story is centered around a guy that absolutely can not be stopped. He can capture gods. If anyone became a threat to his friends and family they are instantly toast. And it's a comedy mostly so it's not like there are villages getting raised and plundered.
