Well, they previously encountered the "Black Knight" while his clone was with them. From what they know, it's only reasonable for them to assume that they are separate people. Though a bit less reasonable in the case of Iris, but we don't exactly know what she DOES know. For all we know, she could have already figured it out, it just changes very little whether she knows or not.
