Have you read Mushoku Tensei or Kage no Jitsuryokusha ni Naritakute?
It's really good, the first one have a thick and interesting lore while the second one is just really funny and self-aware with how silly Isekai genre is

either way, read chapter 4 and is dropping this... first this guy says he want to remain a shut-in, and now he's gone psycho and mass-murder... (since no one on his father's side is dead, only injured, so this isn't even revenge-kill, it's just pure murder)

@Wireath I think he's just too lazy to really bother thinking that far ahead. He still doesn't seem to understand how ridiculously strong his barriers seem to be.

Plus, you have to consider context. Frey is adorable but holy crud is she dumb, and it doesn't really phase him too much. He seems like the type of person who "doesn't bother" to do something that he doesn't have to. Figuring out the 002/002 thing would probably take an inkling of effort lol
Frey even told him he has a ton of power.

@Scynix Then why bother even developing a power to gauge how much mana he has, than depreciate himself for how 'low' it is? Especially when there are reasons to believe otherwise, which I brought up. Personally seems dumb/stupid.... Though I guess it's in line with how he thinks/does things, aka copying himself so he can laze around. If he copies himself, then his copy would think the same as him, thus want to laze too.

Edit: He even has an inkling that it's higher than it seems, as shown by how his is to the hundreds, while the normal one is to the tens.

@Wireath yeah I completely agree with you in that regard. The effort he put in to make the hundredths indicator should have been plenty to finish trying, but he is reeaallllyy lazy.

Even his barrier clone thing is lazy, as you say.
I think we're supposed to use his lazyness as a general "so that's why he doesn't" excuse. That's the impresson I get anyways. He sure puts out plenty of effort when it comes to Char.
