wow, that proposal was pretty sudden (though I suppose they already have broached the possibly pregnant bit).
Also, not surprising for a teenager character, but that pro-Youko argument was not exactly well thought out. In 2 years, he never tried to think about how he would tackle a situation where she was discovered? I mean, she outed herself saving someone from falling to their death, not exactly the same situation the dad found himself in (uncontrolled bite on student/friend). Should've been a lot easier to control the flow of (some of) the student reactions.
Being easy to read doesn't mean not being prepared. Course, daddy going big and dark within seconds wouldn't have helped.

@Moridin69 the bite was on his girl friend, not student/ friend
also why the hell would he try to 'think of a situation where she was discovered'
The nonsense you talk about is just stupid. What the hell is a """pro-youko""" argument. What the hell does being a "teenage character" have to do with any of this. Please stop speaking in your own made up language bro 😂
Idk if you remember but he wasn't that smart either. I think the whole "don't have to hide your secret" is a good idea but what you came up with is just straight stupid so I have no idea what your point even is anymore lol

So this is like my 10th+ time rereading this and I will eternally love it. Such an amazing moment.
However one thing that's just struck me? Page 14. This moment below.
This heavily implies that a similar moment happened in the (Future) timeline and that timeline's Akemi chose not to do anything. Her endless guilt suddenly becomes incredibly heavier.
