I feel like Araki's wanted to do a Submarine for a while. I'm glad we're gonna see Charming Man again too. Also I can't be the only one who thought november rain just suddenly started tearing holes into the underground hospital thing, only for "The ROD" to appear. Perhaps it's coincidence.

man, moments like the opening pages of this chapter really sell how this crew is just a group of outcasts left on the fringe of society... the way they all seem like they're still sorting out who they are and want to be but have rallied around this mission and what it will lead to is really good, feels even more refined than when Araki did similar in part 5

that aside, very much looking forward to Charming Man rejoining the story, and to whatever the hell a fight against that weird ass stand could possibly look like lol

Deadass honestly made this chapter my favorite so far. Love seeing the siblings confide in each other. I hope we get to see more moments between the two as they grow.

I was wondering that too, it kinda looked like he looked directly at john rod though. And also makes me wonder if he's a fake ally, he was described as "shady" doctor roberts and maybe john rod is his stand.

Edit: I should also clarify how its odd that despite the doctor having nothing to do with this, the stand only attacks after they discussed the hints to getting another lava rock in the van.
