The writing isn't the best or most complex, and it has some abilities that either contradict the story or are never used again when they could be useful. But those can be ignored and most are only really noticeable if you analyze it deeply. Araki's writing definitely improves in later parts as stands are more fleshed out.

This part is still really enjoyable, and while the story is the most typical out of all the parts, it is still very Bizzare. And imo, I had alot of fun watching this part. Some of the fights here are the best and most iconic in the entire series. The part itself is the most popular and iconic in the series. 2nd favourite part for me behind DiU.

Edit: back after reading this manga, and the anime definitely improved on some parts of it. Still really fun and bizarre. 8/10 would read again.
