@Kaichem It's simple. There are lucky areas and unlucky areas. Unlucky areas are bad, lucky areas are good. F.F. was in unlucky spots because she doesn't understand feng shui and doesn't know how to avoid them. Kenzo's stand gives him a greater understanding of feng shui so he can take full advantage of the lucky spots and force F.F. into unlucky spots. The stand is neutral tho, because anyone can learn about feng shui and can abuse these lucky spots. The fire hose activated the chair because the chair was fated to turn on while F.F. was in it. Anything could've turned it on, the fire hose just happened to be what did it.
