See now, we can’t be sure if Rai is dead. He not only survived Ozone Baby, but in previous parts people have survived Donuts (Koichi), so it’s not improbable that he lived. Plus, the one that hit his head seemed to have mostly hit a small part of his head. Unless he has a massive forehead, Rai probably didn’t sustain major brain damage
