okay but why use a stand to slow down the bullets
1. Slowing down the bullets is very effective at surprising your enemy; you’d think that making the bullets slower would make them easier to dodge, but when you don’t understand what’s going on and you see bullets that are practically frozen in the air, you are so shocked you don’t have time to react when the bullets go full speed again (the end of the last chapter as an example)
2. Slowing down the bullets actually damages the enemy more; as shown in this chapter, Bobby Jean can slow down the bullets while they’re lodging themselves into their targets, which causes more pain as the targets can feel the bullets slowly drilling into their skin and it also will tear into their flesh more than a bullet at regular speed would do.
Those are all the positives I could think of, but there are probably more.
