Also finally catched up with this after only reading the first few chapters after launch.. idk but I enjoy the anime versions more. I can barely tell what is going on in the manga in fights.

The manga by itself it's mostly intriguing as hell, the OG manga fans had to wait almost 30 years for this masterpiece to be serialized, and when it happened it's popularity resurged once again. Wait til SBR is announced and everyone will be ecstatic.

November Rain sends down rain droplets with enough pressure to kill a person. Normally, it's only within a 3-meter radius, but when the guy was shooting at Jodio nonstop, a few of the bullets bounced away, and a few of the droplets splattered outside his range onto the ceiling above both of them. Since those droplets were created by his Stand, he could still cause them to rain down with immense pressure, even if it was outside his range. The assassin stepped underneath one of those droplets, and Jodio caused it to fall straight down onto his head, piercing through his brain and out of his throat, presumably killing him instantly.

To me this felt super underwhelming - they were on a timer and all about to die basically due to the little girl's micro stand internal damage, and then the droplets basically splashed and killed Bobby Jean who got too close due to greed I guess.
Feels just very lucky - it would've felt more like strategy if he did kind of pull out the lava rock as a gambit to make a deal/bait him into his range.
Also I get that the kid withdrew her stand due to grief but it felt like everything just was fine and there was no damage actually once they left.

NGL I didnt like SBR much either, definitely did not live up to expectations. Maybe the anime changes it if we ever get that far.

Minor/large criticism first
This part's fights are honestly some of the worst in the series. I've noticed Araki seems to have lost his touch in that department or is simply more focused on the storytelling but it's something I've noticed.

Overall pretty good chapter just like the rest the story seems to be picking up fast and I enjoy that hopefully we get more info on Howler and see are first major villain more.

Jodio's stand definitely is about manipulating pressure. I can't wait to see how it changes throughout the story
