hoo, I'm sure Howler will prove himself to be a big competent threat by the end of this part but I love that, for now, he is at least partially losing out in this scenario because of the same paranoia that let the situation get this messy in the first place. Even if he doesn't sign the papers, Jodio and crew are probably making it out with the lava rock and Meryl's crew made it out in one(?) piece, that's enough of a win for now all things considered

Yeah, I thought the Matte Kudasai was useful, but not THIS useful. Really cool to see alongside Charmingman continuing to come in clutch.

Also, so very funny to just have everyone's fingers in cups and labeled since we actually have battle damage we can't immediately Stand away for once.

To be fair, we know a LOT more about Stands than the Characters do.
We know about absolutely bullshit Stands like Cheap Trick, Black Sabath, Notorious B.I.G., Survivor...
Meanwhile, most Characcters here just know they have a Supernatural Power for some reason, and that other people have them too.
So it's understandable to assume that the moment the opponent becomes a Corpse, the fight is Over.
Sure, Stands in Jojo tend to be weirder than the average Superpower, but I don't think anyone would expect having a Hanged Man existing as a reflection in their eye or a Scary Monsters infecting them with the Dinovirus XD.
We know to be terrified of Enemy Stands to the point of complete Paranoia, but the Characters aren't so lucky...

True, though I feel like if I have a B.S. power that follows "playground rules" someone else is equally as unpredictable.

We're not talking super speed vs super strength were talking "as long as it's a gap I can hurt you" even in universe is wonder "just what can everyone else do?"
