I started reading this manga years ago and have started to re-read it again. It was my favorite and thought it had been dropped.

Anyway, I don’t know the ending but as far as what I’ve read and understood,

it’s not exactly tragedy because of the unhappy ending but because you’re not allowed to be attached to anyone or you’ll just cry

I remember reading it on otakumole so basically the fl rises to the top and becomes the ruler i think she had a kid i cant remember but in the end she leaves the position as ruler and goes off with. the ml so they do end up together in the end but they're separated for a while. Heres the thing though in the end it kinda showed the ml and fl go on together walking away but like im not really sure if he died and that scene was metaphorical so i just interpreted as they were reunited again but from how i remevber it i liked the ending mind you i read it a few years back
