Lol, there wasn’t a scar on the wanted poster the first time it was shown, so I got confused at first glance.
Damn, I knew the traffickers would probably be a plot point that’d be tackled in this one-shot, but still caught me by surprise.
Why the heck was the dark elf more embarrassed about someone washing his underwear as opposed to actually being seen wearing said underwear? Hm. Lol.
I wonder if there’s actually something that can counter anti-magic equipment, perhaps rendering it useless. Not a concept that’s discussed here, but an interesting one to think of nonetheless.
I guess people buy from the traffickers while under the guise of being opposed to it like the rest of the general public? That’d make sense, especially for nobles in this kind of scenario.
I wonder if the women actually know he has the curse, or if the reality around him is distorted in some way to make them feel uneasy or queasy around him. Sort of like having a constant durian or stinky tofu smell around you, I guess? Would’ve be interesting to see their reaction after the curse is lifted, perhaps still showing some wariness or aversion towards him before realizing the difference/change, lol.
Edit: Oh, guess it is covered! I guess the people either don’t recognize him or new people altogether. They still might be put off by his sudden crying though, lmao. At least he can hold a conversation now, this time without the other party being utterly disgusted.
Damn, even the trafficking woman was perplexed on why she herself felt so disturbed around him. Setting aside the reason on how exactly the guy companion found out about the curse, I guess he was able to because his mind wasn’t being…let’s say…assaulted? By the MC’s appearance/curse. Weird how she wasn’t effected by it earlier on though, during the first encounter. Maybe it had a radius effectiveness like AoE, or that she just hadn’t focused on perceiving him completely. Focusing on the prize? Something like that. Anyways, guess the curse was useful in the end, since it prevented the trafficking woman to also chime in to the attack. Guessing she also couldn’t really do much to stop them from leaving even if she wanted to, considering Mareo’s presence, lol.
Why the hell are they considering them a “man-whore” for just wearing a dress 😭. If they even had access to it, that means that other elves (although probably only women) wear it too. Probably only a gender bias tho. Seeing how they said “ready to serve humans” though…I guess they have preconceived notions that humans just have a femboy kink? Lmao.
“If he didn’t have that curse, he could probably meet a girl much better than me.” gives off the feeling that it’s not that they just like the clothes, but maybe that they might also be hinting to be trans? Hm.
Wait, huh? So I guess Mareo walked to Daruk’s house, in which case, it must be pretty close to the city walls? Assuming it has walls. City borders, I guess. No wonder the traffickers found/pinpointed their location so easily, damn.
Wholesome ending. I guess he would be considered a shota in the perspective of elves, huh? Then again, I might think not since they could just grow until they look 20-ish and then stop aging. Tbf tho, elves age differently depending on the story, so who knows. Did not expect the blood, but not that gorey either. Interesting plot. Don’t know why I wrote so much for this ngl 😭.
