Ugh, how many chapters are wasted on this flashback arc? When will we go back to the present?

Ugh. I was looking forward to seeing how Akane's relationship with her friend develops, now that her memories are back. This current arc is not fun at all.
Lol. I wanted to semi-seriously ask if you were interested in anything other than actual or potential yuri in this manga, but you actually did that yourself. :02:

And here is me hoping the second Prince chap has a chance
I always thought that twins had the highest chance of an incest pairing out of all the siblings, if you meant HIM. At least that's how it was back when this manga attracted more incest shippers than yuri fanboys. But who knows, shipping in this manga froze after the start of this arc. But I couldn't notice that half the female characters in the series have female friends with one-sided yuri crushes on them (some even have 2 or 3, lmao), I think.

"actual or potential". Do not take words out of context, please read the entire sentence.
"or". How you put it, it implies the yuri could be only potential.
If we agree the yuri is actual and it is), there's no need for the "or potential".

Once again, do not take my words out of context. I understand that yuri fans live in the reality of a constant shipping war, but if you carefully read my comment as I asked, you will notice that I mentioned his interest in various yuri in general, both real and potential. Which is also indicated by my answer to another person, where I mention both the actual yuri in the manga and the ships.

No no no, you didn't get me; you said "yuri in this manga", so we're talking specifically about this manga.
When you say "actual or potential", it normally means that the subject can or not be real, or I'm misinterpreting English? (it can be too). In our case, "in this manga" the yuri is "actual" and no more "potential".

...unless, you're using yuri in a board sense, an talking about potential yuri relationship. (it didn't come to mind before, too used to treat it as a genre).

P.S. I don't know a thing (and don't care) abaut that shipping war you talking, and I don't remember we caring too much in general (no more than het shipper). In most case there's no room for alternative pairings :dogkek:.

Lord, do you really have so much free time for pointless arguments? You've literally been roasting me for days now, forcing me to explain every little nuance of my words to you, because you can't seem to understand words unless they're expressed in the most straightforward manner possible. I talked about yuri in this manga in general, both some objective and some potential, because I was addressing the famous local yuri fanboy. And no, you are literally engaged in a shipping war right now, persistently trying to force a dispute on me about ships, although you should have realized a long time ago that I am not interested in this. That's why I made a joke about the shipping war, because yuri shippers seem to be more interested in the support of their ships by others than in the ships themselves.

So, I already explained to you 3 or 4 times what I meant. And I pointed out to you several times my other comment about yuri in this manga, but for some reason you persistently ignore it, continuing to demand that I explain to you that I combined canon and potential yuri in this manga, and did not contrast them. Do you have a different opinion? Do you consider all your ships to be obvious? Okay, good for you. But don't try to convince me of this against my will. Whether I support your ships or not will not make the yuri in this manga more or less canon.

I apologize for the possibly too harsh answer, I’m just tired of going in circles for several days, discussing the same simple thing.

I think I get what you meant: is a bit of translation issue (that "actual or potential" looks like a very specific expression), and a bit of unclear board use by your side.
I just want to point out one more thing: yuri is a concept, not a numerable item; if we add more pairings to a manga, it don't have more yuris, it IS yuri (or not). And this manga IS yuri (secondarily). To make a very simplistic paragon, it's like you talked about "actual or potential fantasy in Harry Potter", it don't sounds too right, doesn't it? You used "yuri" in a board way implying "yuri pairing", while I thought to yuri as genre, so I initially interpreted your sentence as "actual or potential presence of yuri in the story". I also got tricked by that "or" (that by definition put things in contrast): since yurists are (usually) interested in yuri per se, as a whole, it should have been "and", or just "yuri" omitting the actual/potential part.
But a demontration that you too misunderstood me, I only mentioned Angelica, the only actual yuri character in the story (for now), and never talked about shipping, or mentioned other ships. And I don't care too much what others hope about pairings. And I don't have ships. Not here, at least.

If you are talking only about characters, there are at least 3-4 of them in this manga. Primarily friends of female characters with one-sided yuri crush on them. For example, Akane's childhood best friend and classmate (not sure I remember her name correctly) or their younger sister's idol colleague. Whether this will be “rewarded”, I don’t know, since JnD is one of those CGDCT manga with a co-ed cast, where everything depends on the intentions and preferences of the author. Therefore, I do not want to speculate about the sexuality of the characters or the ships in such works.

For me, yuri is a certain aesthetic or plot element in the work. And although I appreciate and respect platonic yuri, I always make a reservation when it comes to this, as it can very easily confuse the inexperienced people. Especially when it comes to Class S-like works like Marimite, Hibike or the more recent Akebi-chan and Kiyo in Kyoto. It’s easier to say that this is Class S or yuri bait. Which also has its own nuances (Kyo is easy to interpret but has no bait, while Akebi, as I recall, became more of a "that" yuri in the latest arc), but at least people will better understand what you mean. So, when I say “actual or potential yuri,” I mean that yuri in this work has both an objective and a potential form, depending on which subplot or ship you are talking about. Of course, those who love yuri may be interested in both the actual content and what could become it. I don't remember if there was any form of platonic yuri in this manga, unless we were suddenly told at the very end that Angelica desires was just a Marimite-like sisterhood.

I am always ready to apologize if I or we misunderstood each other. I just really don’t like protracted arguments about the same thing, and besides, the fall turned out to be quite chaotic and difficult for me. I am choleric, so the fast pace of life very quickly squeezes me dry and makes me irritable.
