@grom because writing is haarrrdddd.
If it'd have been any more derivative, it'd have also been in a school setting.
#note: haven't read the 1st chapter yet. does not actually know if I should eat my hat for saying that.

I'm a sucker for this kind of story. I love isekai but the majority of those are just brainless so it's nice to see something like this once in a while. A bit too predictable though

So the author really loved the trial by combat bit in Song of Ice and Fire, I take it, especially Red Viper vs the Mountain.

Welp, not too sure how much I'll enjoy this one. Seems like it'd have a lot of "obviously evil people, doing explicitly evil things, yet nobody does anything about it".
There are more than enough Chinese authors doing that to a perfected extreme.

Readable, but ultimately too much struggle for my liking.

Trial by combat...

There were professional duelists in various places in the previous millennium, but I'm getting the impression that this isn't going to be a sober look at historical anything.

Though art is good. I would like to read some hentai manga from the artist.

About hentai or the blood feud?
You see, even on this planet there are not only the countries populated by Unicorns. Working judicial system and forgiveness of murderers who got the official punishment are just a rubbish stories for the wealthy countries. There are still a lot of countries with primal laws here. It may be heartless for me to disillusion you but the blood feud is still a thing (unwritten law) in my country.

Real life is sillier. This is how real Judicial fights were like.

The party who was significantly better at fighting got stupid handicaps like the man in the picture.

Though, you could easily be trained JUST to fight just about any type of court mandated handicap duel so trained warriors did have the advantage.

I think it should be noted that punishments of crime were not this flimsy. They don’t always end up in a duel. I might have not researched or look to much into this story, but there are some obvious holes within this story.
