I feel like folks forgot that no one but the first prince (and chloe) has any regard for Kazami and the first prince doesn't really have much power at all. In addition, he wants Kazami to prove himself capable of changing the power balance between north, south, east, and west since "unique people" have always worked behind the scenes of the countries. So he has to do it on his own.
