love the build up we've had towards revealing that Maru is the one that doesn't fully Understand what it means to be a neighbor and live alongside others, guess the Maru we saw rampaging when he got knocked out was the self he repressed for Cross' sake
Tsurugi and Maru want to do right by the people they care about So badly but the only shared language they know best is violence, and so the cycle continues...
this does make me hope even harder than last chapter that Yuka has a proper plan that isn't just Fighting going into this duel with Dabura, even with the prospect of her taking on a binding vow I want to believe she's fully committed to what she told Cross about breaking this cursed cycle
either way we've only got another ~volume worth of chapters left I think so whatever plays there are to be made are gonna be made Soon lol, looking forward to it
